The High Plains Museum is a wonderful place to learn about and honor the pioneers of five regional states: Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, and Nebraska. On display at the museum is the original stagecoach that ran between Deadwood and Spearfish, as well as outdoor displays that feature a fully-furnished log cabin, antique farm equipment and a rural schoolhouse. The museum is located south of the historic town of Spearfish, just west of the Black Hills Airport.
Open Summer daily 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Winter daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
